Today We Decorate!

The “Dream Team” from Clarke Construction Projects includes Tina and Aubrie on this day. They got right to work first thing in the morning hauling in all the surprises and finishing touches. Charlee was at her cousin’s house for the day so that we could surprise her with the big reveal! She is going to be so surprised!

Little Payton Lends A Hand

Three-year-old Payton joined the decorating team in the afternoon. After a long hard day at daycare, she had lots of energy left over to help out. Here are some of the tasks that Payton tackled:

• She gave her stamp of approval on the overall design of the bedroom.
• She tested out the loft bed.
• She tried on Charlee’s new doctor’s coat to make it sure it would fit.
• She taste-tested the ‘medicine’ (Skittles)!
• She made sure there were no missing pieces in the doctor’s kit
• She gleefully welcomed Charlee home when her and her Dad arrived!
• She led Charlee up to her room for the big reveal.
• She volunteered to be Charlee’s first patient!

Charlee Reacts at the Big Reveal!

When Charlee arrived home from her cousin’s house she was so excited to finally see her completed bedroom! She had asked the dream team for Llamas to be included in her room decor, and she got a giant Llama decal on her wall, Llama pillows, and a Llama stuffie (wearing a stethoscope).

The colours that Charlee chose during the consultation were pink and teal. Each colour covered half of her bedroom walls meeting on the feature wall in a triangle design. She also received new bedding, curtains, a loft bed with a desk, and teal desk chair, a comfy pink beanbag chair for reading, and a ‘doctor’s exam table’, and of course – accessories!
